Privacy policy

AGENIX Academy is operated by AGENIX Digital, Inc. ("AGENIX", "we", "us"), based in the Philippines. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
What we collect
We collect the data you give us and some we generate as you use the platform:
- Account data: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed), plus your handle and, if you add one, a profile photo.
- Profile data: your headline, bio, location, links, work preferences, case studies, and your Marketer's DNA skills.
- Learning and credential data: courses you take, progress, and certifications you earn.
- Business contact data: when a business contacts members or submits a hiring request, we store the contact and company details they provide.
- Usage data: basic technical and activity records, such as key events (for example, sign-up or publishing your profile), used to run and improve the platform.
- Referral data: if you arrived through a member's referral link, we record which member referred you.
Public profiles and visibility
When you make your profile public, your handle, name, photo, headline, bio, location, links, Marketer's DNA, and certifications become visible to anyone. Public profiles can appear in our directory, in hiring searches, and in search engines. A public certificate can be verified by anyone who has its link. You control this: you can switch your profile to private at any time from your profile settings, which removes it from the directory and public view going forward. Search engines and others may retain cached copies for some time after a change.
Why we use your data
- to create and run your account and profile;
- to deliver courses and issue and verify credentials;
- to connect members with businesses who want to hire, when you opt to be visible;
- to send account, security, and service messages;
- to keep the platform safe and to comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the platform (for example, hosting, database, and email delivery), under agreements that limit how they use it, and when the law requires it. Businesses see the profile information you choose to make public.
Storage and security
Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers, which may process it on servers outside the Philippines. We use access controls and row-level security so that members can reach only the data they are permitted to. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to certain processing, to have data erased or blocked, to data portability, and to complain to the National Privacy Commission. You can update most of your information directly in your profile and settings.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, under Delete account. This removes your profile and associated data. If the in-app option is unavailable, email us at hello@agenix.digital and we will remove your account. We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as for tax or dispute resolution.
Keeping data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you may be kept longer.
Children
The platform is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform grows. We will change the date above and, for material changes, let you know where appropriate.
